Landlord Training...
The Urban Neighborhoods Alliance, along with the Springfield, Missouri Police Department, City Utilities, and the Springfield Apartment & Housing Association, held its 8th Annual Landlord Training Workshop on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at City Utilities. Approximately In 2009, 35 landlords attended the training and represented over 1,600 housing units.

This bold, new program has no precedent. The program’s concept was to take a multi-faceted approach to crime prevention--a unique coalition of police, property managers, and residents of rental properties. The program is to be an on-going program to address all of the opportunities of crime in rental property.
