A partnership has been established to enhance Springfield's community trees.  The City of Springfield's goal is to develop and maintain out community forest.  By partnering with the citizens of Springfield, especially through its neighborhoods, together these valuable assets can be rejuvenated and enhanced.  Click below for information on the Neighbor Woods program.
                                              
Click below for a partial list of the trees that are available for the 2007-08 tree planting schedule.  Please note the trees that are either prone to surface roots and/or susceptible to ice storm weather.  Residents may want to steer away from these species.
